We’re thrilled to announce: in the fall of 2025, Putnam Valley Library will be offering Modern Dance Classes for all ages. This project is made possible, in part, through the Putnam Arts Council’s Arts Link Grant Program with public funds provided through the NY State Council on the Arts with support from the Office of the Governor and the NY State Legislature. Thank you for your generosity.

We’re excited to share we received a $2,000 Spark Good local grant from our local Mohegan Lake, New York Walmart. This grant will help with remodeling our Community Room. Thank you so very much, Walmart! We are proud to spark good in our community! #SparkGood

Wonderful update: Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley has approved Putnam Valley Library ADA Door/Door Opener Project grant request in the amount of $3,000. We are so grateful for your support.

We have exciting news to share: our grant application to Partners for Climate Action Hudson Valley (via the fiscal sponsor, the New World Foundation) was approved for $21,922! This grant funded the installation of an air-source heat pump and partial ceiling insulation, further enhancing the library’s energy efficiency and sustainability.

 

 

 

After a one day closure of the library the skylight was completely replaced.
