Fishing Poles: There are four (4) fishing poles that can be checked out for two (2) weeks at a time.

Wi-Fi Hotspots: There are three (3) T-Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots available for checkout. The loan period is for two (2) weeks and is renewable based on availability. Up to 15 devices can be connected at any time, allowing the whole family free internet access. Great for travel too!

Museum Passes: These passes were generously donated by the Friends of the Putnam Valley Library. Each pass can be taken out for 4 days.

• Storm King: Valid for free admission for two adults and all children under age 18 living in the same household, per day, per Membership. No advance reservation required for Library Membership Pass holders. Entry to Storm King’s grounds during Member-only hours for Library Membership Pass holders.
• Empire Pass: Free entry for one vehicle and occupants for most of New York’s state-operated parks and recreational facilities. Visit parks.ny.gov. Day-use entry only. Not valid for special events
• Boscobel: Offers up to four (4) guests access to the grounds and/or to a house tour if the house is open. Reservations are required for tours.
• Hudson River Museum: Free general admission, up to four guests (adults or children), to the Museum and its galleries only. Planetarium shows and Glenview Historic Home tours will be an additional cost. Pass may not be used for advance registration for admission, purchase of ticketed or other paid programs at Members’ rates, gift shop discounts, or used for reciprocal membership benefits at other institutions.
• Intrepid Museum: Free admission for two (2) adults and two (2) children. Access to the express, Members-only admission line, Discounted guest tickets: $ adult, $ 13 child, 10% discount on Family Memberships for library patrons.
• American Museum of Natural History: Two (2) vouchers per year per household per year as long as supplies last. Each voucher can be redeemed for free admission to the museum and one special exhibition or show of the patron’s choice.  To use the voucher, reservations must be made online ahead of time.
• Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum: This pass entitles one family (defined as a group of up to five individuals) free admission to the Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum ONLY. Visit the Library to pick up guest pass or email staff@putnamvalleylibrary.org and guest pass will be sent to you.
• Putnam History Museum Free admission for two (2) adults and their children to exhibits and lecture series. Wednesday through Sunday 12 pm – 4 pm
• Mohonk Preserve Pass is for up to 4 people in one car
• Dia: Beacon – Free admission to Dia Beacon for up to five guests accompanied by the cardholder and free admission for children 18 and under accompanied by the cardholder.
• Motorcyclepedia Museum – Free admission for 1 adult and 1 guest (KIDS, 16 and Under, FREE) . Thursdays 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday – Sunday: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Seed Library: Each household is welcome to take 3-5 seeds from six (6) different seed packets. These are open-pollinated and/or heirloom seeds.  We ask that seeds be collected from any of the plants grown. Any seeds returned should be clearly labeled with identifying information.

Games: Can be checked out for four (4) weeks at a time. Chess, Chutes and Ladders, Scrabble, Connect 4, Yahtzee, Mah-Jongg, Bana-grams, Othello, Mummy Rummy, Go Game Set, Dominoes, Mille Bornes, Upwords, and Jenga.
